Dance

What can you say about dancing? It's simply wonderful to float across the dance floor to the rhythm of the music.

Dancing – hardly any other leisure activity offers so many positive effects for body and mind. In addition to being a lot of fun, it improves posture without overtaxing the musculoskeletal system, and it also trains the muscles. Dancing is also pure coordination training: the aesthetic execution of dance steps to a given rhythm in coordination with a partner requires concentration and flexibility.

We dance according to the world dance program, which consists of five standard dances: slow waltz, Viennese waltz, tango, foxtrot/quickstep, slow fox and five Latin American dances: rumba, cha-cha-cha, samba, jive, paso doble.

But the "folk dance" Disco Fox is also not neglected and is perfected, and the lively Mambo quickly became a particularly popular dance. West Coast Swing, a dance almost as versatile as Disco Fox, has recently been added to the program. However, there is no prescribed program; instead, the repertoire of moves is gradually expanded according to ability and mood.

Couples with good prior experience are welcome. Beginners are encouraged to join our courses.
